The Herring Era Museum participates in a EEA project
The project “Revitalization of the Liechtenstein brewery, restoration of original technology and opening of a unique brewery museum and archive in Kostelec nad Černými lesy” was officially launched on April 15, 2021. The project financed by the EEA Funds 2014 - 2021 will be completed by April 2024. The recipient of the grant is the National Museum of Brewing, the project partners are the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Architecture - the Research Centre for Industrial Heritage FA CTU Prague for the Czech Republic, the Kveiktraining.com for the Kingdom of Norway and the Herring Era Museum for Iceland. The above-mentioned partners have entered the project on the basis of long-term experience in the fields of museology, brewing, operation of technical monuments and the study of malting and brewing.
