New staff

Steinunn M. Sveinsdóttir joined us as Collections Manager on February 13 2014. Steinunn was born in 1985 and is a Historian by training. Since the age of 13, she spent summers working at the Herring Museum and even from this early age demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. She moved to Denmark in 2008 to continue her studies and has recently returned to Siglufjordur. Steinunn will be responsible for museum registration, collection management and research. We are delighted to have her with us and celebrate her continued success in both professional as well as personal life.
