21.000 visitors so far

The Herring Era Museum is open daily for five months a year, from May through September – but it‘s open by arrangement during the winter. Even though it‘s October and our formal opening hours have passed, we‘re still receiving visitors every day and have quite a lot of groups booked for the winter.
From 1. January 21.000 visitors have been to the Museum, which is a lot more than what we‘re used to since from 2011 our total visitor numbers have counted from 17 – 20.000 annually. Numbers of foreign visitors keep rising and now account for 60%. Also, we‘ve never had as many salting shows as this year, total of 31 shows. So it‘s clear that 2015 is by far our best year! Hooray!
