Summer-season 2024

Today, at Labour Day - a National Holiday in Iceland, we're celebrating our first day of summer-hours.
From today, The Herring Era Museum is open to visitors from 13:00 - 17:00 daily throughout the month of May.
June, July & August we'll be open every day from 10:00 - 17:00, and in September from 13:00 - 17:00.
