ÍNN Visits the Museum
Ingvi Hrafn Jónsson, owner of television station ÍNN, visited The Herring Era Museum for the first time in the summer of 2013. Ingvi Hrafn has a strong connection to the local herring history: his grandfather was Ole Tynes who played an important role in the herring industry as owner of the salting station Sunna. Museum Curator, Anita Elefsen, greeted Ingvi Hrafn and gave him a tour through the museum.
